With over a decade of hands-on experience, I’ve built a solid foundation in residential construction, mostly through self-teaching and tackling projects head-on. As a young woman with my first home, I faced the daunting task of managing a long list of repairs and renovations on my own. The cost of hiring contractors was overwhelming, and I often found that many didn’t take the time to listen or communicate effectively with me.
Instead of giving up, I rolled up my sleeves and took matters into my own hands. Over the years, I’ve taught myself everything from drywall installation to plumbing repairs, flooring, painting, and even the intricacies of electrical work like installing new light fixtures. I’ve tackled massive projects like building a workshop from the ground up, demoing and rebuilding a 50-foot-long retaining wall, and gutting and completely rebuilding a kitchen—all on my own.
I’m passionate about empowering others to take on their own projects, whether big or small. I believe that with the right guidance, anyone can develop the skills, confidence, and knowledge to transform their space and solve problems with their own two hands. I’m eager to work with anyone who’s interested in learning and growing their own capabilities just like I did.

Yes I do small jobs. I generally quote these over the phone or via email. Photos are very helpful.
I generally stay within small to medium scale renovations for example typically limited to one room at a time. I also generally don't carry subcontractors.
I have a few different pay structures depending on the job.
Mentorship is generally a day rate since everyone works at their own pace and I don't want to rush the learning process. It takes what it takes!
Smaller one-off jobs that can be completed in a day or less are quoted over the phone or via email. If you can provide photos that will be very helpful.
For larger jobs that will take more than a day or two I will assess in person before I provide a quote.
Yes I am happy to work with landlords and property managers to help maintain and repair your rental properties.
Yes I am fully insured.
